WORKING TOGETHER THE HEALING JOURNEY

Ceremony is the key to understanding why we work.

This is what i have learned as i continue to work and learn with the cultures of the world that still have indigenous roots.

While working with Kinsol Timber Systems i had the honor to work with the Malahat First Nations who have lived for centuries sustainably along the Salish Sea which runs between the two European colonial settlements of Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

This project was a restoration and extension of their existing ceremonial Long House (Big House).

With respect to the elders and ceremony we are asked not to show any images of the inside of their Big House.

I am greatly thankful for this opportunity to work with such amazing peoples.
